Please read the following terms carefully before using OneTap.

Service Description

  • OneTap is a digital wallet and payment platform that provides Dhaka Metro ticketing, BanglaQR payments, NFC card recharge, and P2P transfer services.
  • A valid Bangladeshi mobile number and OTP verification are required to use the service.
  • The daily wallet transaction limit is ৳25,000 (twenty-five thousand taka), which may be increased based on KYC level.

Account & Security

  • Users are responsible for keeping their accounts secure — keep your 4-digit PIN confidential and do not share it with anyone.
  • If you suspect unauthorized access, immediately contact support@onetap.com.bd.
  • OneTap reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend accounts if fraudulent activity is detected.
  • Each individual may hold only one OneTap account.

Transaction Policy

  • All transactions are final and irreversible — please verify the details before confirming a payment.
  • Metro QR tickets must be used within 30 minutes of purchase; otherwise, a refund will be credited back to the wallet.
  • Successful top-ups are reflected in the balance immediately. Failed top-ups will be refunded to the source account within 24–72 hours.
  • OneTap is not liable for P2P transfers sent to an incorrect recipient number.

NFC Card Terms

  • The minimum NFC metro card recharge amount is ৳100 and the maximum is ৳5,000.
  • OneTap is not responsible for card hardware defects. Please contact DMTCL (Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited) directly.
  • After a successful recharge, the card balance may take until the next tap to update.

Prohibited Activities

  • Using OneTap for money laundering, terrorism financing, or any other illegal activity is strictly prohibited.
  • Unauthorized access to the API, reverse engineering, or system manipulation is prohibited.
  • Creating an account with false information is a punishable offense.
  • Abusing the system by operating multiple accounts is prohibited.

Limitation of Liability

  • OneTap's liability is limited if services are disrupted due to technical errors, network outages, or third-party (bKash, Nagad, NPSB) issues.
  • OneTap is exempt from liability in cases of force majeure (natural disasters, government directives).
  • In no event shall OneTap's liability exceed the amount of the relevant transaction.

Modifications & Termination

  • OneTap reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified before changes take effect.
  • Users may request to close their account at any time.
  • OneTap may suspend or close accounts without prior notice in cases of terms violation.

Governing Law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
  • Disputes shall first be resolved through discussion, followed by arbitration under the laws of Bangladesh.
  • Guidelines from Bangladesh Bank, BTRC, and other regulatory bodies are followed.
